  • Byont is the operating name of Byont BV, a company registered in the Netherlands. This notice applies to all its group companies (all hereinafter referred to as “Byont”).
  • Byont takes the necessary measures to protect your personal data and ensure compliance with the requirements of data protection legislation. All data that Byont gathers for the provision of our products or services is processed in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulations (Algemene Verordening Gegevensbescherming).
  • Byont intends to provide a privacy notice in a transparent and straightforward manner and in our privacy notice we want to make sure that it is clear to you which personal data Byont processes and what happens to that data.

2) What Personal Data do we Collect?

This includes personnel from all group companies or external parties insofar as these parties process data on behalf of Byont for the purposes stated by Byont. Byont requires these external parties to take the same strict security measures as it has taken to protect your personal data. Insofar as your personal data are transferred outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”), the legal requirements for such data transfer are met. With the exception of making your personal data available to the aforementioned parties, Byont will not make your personal data available to third parties unless it is required to do so to meet its legal obligations.

    • Request access to your personal information (commonly known as a “data subject request” or DSR). This enables you to receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you and to check that we are processing it lawfully.
    • Request correction of the personal information that we hold about you. This enables you to have any incomplete or inaccurate data we hold about you corrected, though we may need to verify the accuracy of the new data you provide to us.

  • If you have questions about the processing of your personal data by Byont or if you want to view your personal data that Byont has processed or have it deleted, corrected or changed, or if you want to object to the processing or invoke your right to restriction of processing, you can contact Byont via the contact details below. Byont will generally try to respond to your request within one month.
  • If you have a complaint about the processing of personal data by or on behalf of Byont, you can submit a complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

9) Links to other Websites

  • Our website contains links to websites of group companies as well as links to non-Byont websites. The websites of group companies may contain different, specific privacy notices. In addition, external non-Byont websites may use different privacy notices. It is your responsibility to pay attention and check this before making information available to these websites. Byont is not responsible for the privacy notices that apply on external websites.
  • This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website is usually transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Within EU Member States or in other member states of the European Economic Area, Google will shorten your IP address before transmitting it if IP anonymization is activated on this website.
  • Only in exceptional cases will your full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for the website operator and providing other services for the website operator relating to website activity and internet usage.
